If you’re working from home (as in actually working from home) for the first time, you might be thinking, where do I start? The following has a pretty comprehensive list of things to think about before you start working from home. But if there’s one takeaway that’s more important than any other – it’s over communicate, over communicate, over communicate!!
Ultimately, it is more about the sorts of organisations we want to have going forward. What we expect of our leaders. What sort of culture we want to be known for. And whether we believe the evidence that the ways that we interact with each other impacts on how profitable, efficient and productive our organisations are.
In part, the practice of stopping creates a circuit breaker in an otherwise hectic day. It provides a pause to consciously reflect on how you are feeling at that moment and to reset that if necessary.
Ask yourself, if this is what your life looked like in five years, ten years time, would you be happy? Often we tolerate a lifestyle because we tell ourselves it is short term, but the reality is somewhat different.
